Roses come in many colors, a wonderful variety and beautiful most of the time.While I enjoy capturing a wide array of things through my lens, colorful flowers bursting with life often catch my attention. If, for no other reason, only to share with my wife and daughters on those days that don't go quite as they'd like. I guess I had to have a camera in hand in order to "stop and smell the roses." It's not age, as much as it's the shot!The background is a bit busier than I'd like, but the rose to too pretty, and too perfect for that to matter (to me at least). If I remember, maybe I'll start carrying a small "back drop" with me for some of the flower shots. hehehe Kinda a portable studio. hehehe If only the Butterflies will cooperate. ;)Some of you will enjoy it, some won't. Comment if you'd like... but always remember to slow down enough to enjoy the beauty and wonder of nature. Life is far too short, moves far too fast, and has way too much to offer. (ha, bet you thought I'd say FAR again, huh?)
